Full disclosure! I am by no means a beauty expert, and when it comes to makeup, I keep it pretty simple. Unless I'm getting ready for a photoshoot or a fancy affair, I tend to keep my makeup to a minimum. Check out my simple routine below.
Let me start by saying that I never put makeup on without completing my skincare routine first. Skincare is the foundation, and without a well-laid foundation, the makeup will not be the same.
I start with a clean, moisturized face and add a primer. I've been using NARS Pore & Shine Control Primer for years, and I love it.
I like to attack my brows next. I prefer a natural brow and always reach for Benefit Cosmetics Brow Pencil.
I put a few dots of concealer under my eyes and on the bridge of my nose. I use my concealer as a highlighter, so I use a shade slightly lighter than my foundation. My favorite concealer by far is the Sephora Bright Future Gel Serum Concealer. After the concealer, I apply a small amount of Laura Mercier Setting Powder.

I apply a few strokes of NARS Blush to the apples of my cheeks for a light rosy finish.
I swipe a few layers of Bobbi Brown Highlighting Powder to my cheekbones and around the outer line of my forehead and jawline.
On the days I wear no makeup, I still reach for my mascara. It's my favorite part, and I always feel like it finishes the look. I typically rotate between mascara, but I often reach for Dior Diorshow Black Out Mascara, NARS Climax Mascara, or Benefit They're Real Mascara.
I top it all off with Caudalie Beauty Elixir, and I am good to go!
