I think it’s safe to say that we’ve all got a little more time on our hands this summer. Since I’ve been working from home, I have more quiet time, and it’s been a goal to get more reading done.

I’ve been really focused these last few months on building a foundation for my brand and learning more about the blogger/influencer industry. While podcasts and youtube videos are also great for this, there’s something about reading that slows me down and allows the material to be internalized on a deeper level.

Here’s my list of summer reads:

I Am My Brand by Kubi Springer

My girlfriend Somer has raved about this book, and I had to get my hands on it. I’m about halfway through, and it has literally been helping me build the foundation of my personal brand, online and off. It has helped break down some of the walls of fear and replace them with confidence in who I am and who I am growing to be. Highly recommend!

Everything Is Figureoutable by Marie Forleo

When I first saw this book, the title struck me. As an entrepreneur, mindset is everything. It can be the difference between those that make it in this industry and those than don’t. When you really believe that you can do something, you’re already halfway there. I’m excited for this!

Girl, Stop Apologizing by Rachel Hollis

This was one of those books that I didn’t intent to buy, but Amazon told me I should, lol. Again, the title intrigued me. Being in this place in life where I am starting to come into my own, I think this will be a great read to help me on my journey to walk fearlessly and unapologetically.

More Than Enough by Elaine Welteroth

This book has been recommended by so many friends on the ‘gram, and I knew I had to add it to my summer reading list. It’s so fitting for the time, and I think it will be great to help me remember that I belong in each and every room I step into. Society may not want me here, but I’m here, and I’m ready to show up. I have a great feeling about this one!

Influencer: Building Your Personal Brand In The Age Of Social Media by Brittany Hennessy

Every time I’ve done a search for blogger/influencer books or books that would help me increase my knowledge of social media and influence, this book was at the top of the search. I’ve heard nothing but great things about it, and I’m excited to dig in.

Let me know what you are reading this summer!
