MY FAVORITES: NATURAL HAIR PRODUCTS
I am not that person that thinks less is more. As a curly girl, I love trying new products and am always on the hunt for what will work well in my hair. Even in being a proud product junky, I tend to revert to my good old faithful's. Ladies often asked which products I use, so I am highlighting my current favorite natural hair products below.
FOR CLEANSING

Cantu Hydrating Cream Conditioner
I don't use shampoo, so I cleanse with water and conditioner. I find that my hair is way more moistured and has less frizz. I've been using Cantu's Hydrating Cream Conditioner for YEARS, and I love it. It leaves my hair feeling clean, moisturized and happy. It's also super inexpensive. Any curly girl knows how much our hair soaks up conditioner. When you find one that is inexpensive and does the job, you've hit the jackpot!
FOR DEEP CONDITIONING

Deva Curl Melt Into Moisture This is a new find for me, and it works wonders. It has a buttery consistency that melts into my hair. I deep condition about twice amount, and this gives my hair the moisture pick-up it needs.

Ouidad Melt-Down Extreme Repair Mask Let me preface this by saying this product is on the pricey side. But honestly, it is worth every penny to me. I use this about once every two months to revitalize my curls. Especially with color-treated hair, this mask has been great in snapping back any loose, limp curls.
FOR LEAVE-IN

It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In This is probably my favorite hair care product right now. First, I love that it comes in a spray bottle, making it easy to apply. It is light on my hair but super moisturizing. I use it on wash day, whenever I re-style, or if my hair needs a little more than water. And when its almost time for a refill (you know when there's product at the bottom that you can't get out), I pour water into the bottle and use it DAILY to refresh my hair.

Cantu Leave-In Conditioning Repair Cream I'm sure this has been on every curly girls list at some point or another. It's just an all-around good product. It's thick and moisturizing. I typically reach for this if I am keeping my hair in a protective style for a few days and need the additional moisture.
FOR STYLING

Miss Jessie's Pillow Soft Curls I'm late to the party when it comes to this. It's lightweight, but it leaves my hair soft and fluffy, with great definition. Not to mention, it smells AMAZING. The downside to this one is that it is on the pricey side and I run through this product pretty quickly. All in all, it's made my list!

Camille Rose Almond Jai Twisting Butter This one was a hidden gem, but it was like finding gold. It has consistently given me BOMB twist-outs, and it smells just like cake batter! This favorite is medium weight, moisturizing, and gives me great definition. I reach for this more in the colder months but also when my hair is unhappy, and I need to reset!
I want to note that because these products work for me, it doesn't necessarily mean they will work for you. Listen to your hair and pay attention to how it reacts to the products you use. Xo, Jessica
